bl7/ 1840 P.S. Justice /
Philadelphia
$ 875.00
Here's on hard to find P.S. Justice saber in
original condition. Blade has nice luster and never sharpened
with just a couple of small nicks in the blade and very legible
stamping on the blade. Brass guard and pommel has nice attic
aged patina with original wrapping and wire on the grip and rack
# 340 stamped on the basket. Also the blade and handle is good
and tight with very little play at all. The scabbard is nice and
smooth with no dents at all and fits the sword perfect. The
cavalry soldier that carried this one didn't care if it rattled
or not, he wanted everyone to know trouble was on it's way!
Scabbard is marked S&K on the drag. |

BL3 1840 Heavy ( Wrist
Breaker) Saber
$ 695.00
Nice condition 1840 saber known as the wrist
breaker because of the weight of the blade. During the 1860's
they started manufacturing a lighter and much easer to handle
saber for cavalry use. The 1840 saber was a favorite among the
Southern Cavalry and I'm sure you've heard this a few hundred
times but it was a favorite of Nathan Bedford Forrest. He would
sharpen the blade on his heavy so he could do a little more than
knock dust of a Yankees uniform. This is untouched and all
original and has one killer attic patina.. It has a Maker Mark
stamp of F. H. on the blade. |

BL5/ 58 cal.
Austrian bayonet and scabbard
$365.00
Very attractive out of the attic all original 58 cal. Austrian
bayonet and scabbard. Scabbard is sturdy as the day it was
issued and the bayonet is as slick and shiny as my head! But it
does have a nice aged patina !! Good clear markings on the
bayonet, and the blade is nick free also. This is one fine
weapon that would complete your 58 cal. Austrian Musket! |
