Very hard to find Confederate Riflemen button in
good solid condition. No pushes and has a stand up shank. Has no
visible M/M on the reverse. Has a couple small rim chips but
still a good solid button and priced accordingly to condition.
Has chocolate/brown patina with South Carolina dirt highlighting
this button. Dug in Charleston. If you know this one you know

Murfreesboro Turnpike Confederate defense lines. |

recently dug by Paul Crecraft and the first of this specimen I
have seen dug. Seen a few non dug ones in my time. It is legible
although it does have slight ground action. The shank is missing
on the back. The M/M *Imperial*/ Standard is still legible
also."*T. Potts"* would have been the maker. |

still pressed in snug. Has the hard to find "** Jas Conning** /
Mobile" Back Mark. And still retains the shank. Rarity RV 25 |
