slight push to the face. Has great green/brown patina with no
rim damage or freeze cracks. Has nice solid back and stand up
shank. The button was excavated in the Shiloh, Tennessee area.

Here's a rare piece of history
that was recovered in the Union trench lines of Cold Harbor.
Large piece of Uniform was recovered along with nice eagle "I"
button. Artifacts like these are rare as hen's teeth...not very
often do you dig a button with a preserved piece of the soldiers
uniform still attached. |
