L22/ 1855 Rifleman Waist Belt rig

This is the Regulation 1855-1862 Rifleman belt rig with brass plate and belt loop bars. This is a French design copied from the 1847 chasseur a pied accoutrements with a frog for the saber bayonet of the Model 1855 rifle and which linked with the 1855 pattern knapsack. This rig has very pliable leather with very light crazing. The leather has one weak spot on the back side of rig that can be seen in pictures. The brass plate and slides are in excellent condition with nice attic patina. This will make one fine display with a nice saber bayonet!

L21/ 1851 Sword Belt and Belt Plate

Beautiful 1851 Sword Belt rig with nice pliable leather. Has maker mark on inside of leather. close to the belt adjuster. The plate has a beautiful mellow aged patina with nice solid applied silver wreath. This is one nice example at a very affordable price.

L20/ U.S. Model 1848 Grimsley Saddle

 $1500.00 for saddle

This Artillery Driver's saddle was mounted on the near side wheel horse. It is in good condition but does have leather crazing and an early repair to the seat leather. The brass has a nice deep aged patina. Also has the original brass U.S. saddle shield. The Valise is in good condition with minor crazing with one side handle that is loose. All the stitching is in good condition and the scroll designs are still visible on the leather flap. 

L19/ Mint Federal Sword Belt Rig

This is one fine example of the 1851 sword belt rigs. It is complete and would look really cool with your Ames Saber hanging off of this rig. Nice aged patina on the plate and very pliable leather with good tight stitching. Don't let this one get away! 

L7/ Full length Carbine Sling Rig

Nice complete Carbine Sling Rig that is the standard issue length. Most have been shortened for use during post war. The brass has deep dark aged patina with the leather in good condition and does show age w/ crazing. The leather has stiffened up with time but is sturdy. Swivel sling is maker marked O. B. North & Co. / New Haven, Ct.
