drum, Sling and sticks
$595.00
This Indian War era drum is in
great condition other than a couple small cracks in the head but
still carries a tune there somewhere. It measures 16" wide and
12" deep. Has an original pair of period sticks and a period
sling. The sling has torn loose from the leather part that hooks
to the drum but has been glued back in place by some
High Impact Kryptonite, Plutonium Space
Age Glue... I personally glued it back and is very strong
and sturdy. If you would like to have a tube of this glue you
can find it at the dollar store and is called Elmer's glue! LOL,
No lie it is very sturdy and will never fall apart again.
Through it all I still have a sense of humor left in me...God

mi203/ Stencil belonging to J. A. Pettus
$65.00***SOLD***SK
This name stencil of J.A. Pettus was brought to me by a family
from Fayetteville, Tn. and said this was the property of
Corporal J.A. Pettus the son of Mississippi Governor at the time
of the Civil War and was killed in action. This was word of
mouth and I have done no research on this.
The young man I received this from said it has been in their
family for several years and was given to him by his
Grandfather. So I'm listing it for sale as a common name stencil
because to me it is missing one major piece that would
positively I'D it and that is the word Corporal. If Corporal was
there it would be valued 10 times over my asking price. Still
without a doubt it is a nice piece of southern history. This
stencil is in excellent condition and comes with the info
brought in to me printed of the internet. |

mi194DS/ Early
Battlefield Pick-up " COLT REVOLVING RIFLE"
$700.00***LAYAWAY***
This is truly a rare find
right here. I could look up a lot of stuff on the world wide web
to add to the story of this unique item...but...anyway this was
found in McMinnville, TN. in an old house and was obviously an
early pick-up. This was apparently destroyed to keep it out of
the enemies possession. Along with the rifle there were several
.56 Colt Rev. Rifle bullets found while metal detecting the
property, some drops and some fired. This was most likely lost
by a Michigan Soldier while camped in the McMinnville area. And
how many of these have you seen in relic condition? |
