This 1/6 plate ambrotype image of a Confederate Militia soldier is wearing a gray kepi and wearing the U.S. buckle upside down as a lot of southern boys did early in the war changing the U.S. too S. N. (Southern Nations). He is holding his 1816 conversion musket proudly. The case is as rare as hens teeth and probably worth more than the image itself. This image is featured on pg. 134 in the STILL MORE Confederate Faces by D.A. Serrano and also is included in the sale. All is in mint condition and will no doubt be the center piece to your civil war collection and something to be proud of. A piece like this rarely comes up on the market!

$65.00 ***SOLD***

Ok, bet you a chaw of  tabacker you can't make two ringers. This is the neatest carved bullet I've come across and I've dug a few cool ones myself. No doubt a little game piece carved out of a solid base carbine bullet and a three ringer. All was found in the same hole by Gene Cooley a well known long time digger from Richmond, Va. area. This was dug at the Berkley Plantation that was the site of a huge U.S. camp.

Fresh out of the barn is this very seldom encountered Ambulance or wagon canteen ( I'm no expert by a long run, this is what I was told it was by a couple of colleges in the business). mi32/ Alabama Sword Belt Keeper and Sword Hanger

$50.00

This pair was found years ago in an Alabama Cavalry camp near Shelbyville, TN. $195.00

Here's a group of bullets that has a story to tell. Found at Snider's bluff along the Big Black River in Mississippi where the Confederates had been overrun by the Union Army. No way were the Confederates gonna give up their ammo to the Yankee's so they blew up the ammunition stores and hightailed it outer there.

Here are six bullets that survived the explosion but the percussion from the blast did uniquely reshaped there appearance. They are all square shaped from the compression of the blast .  We have one Enfield 577.cal., Three 69 cal., and one 69 cal.3 ringer and a 69 cal. round ball fused together.
